RMRA Announcement
Call for Nominations for
the Elections to the Offices of the Board of Directors of the RMRA

Article III, Section 4, paragraph (a) of the Rib Mountain Repeater Association By-Laws (as amended November 10, 2001) states:
"On or about September 1 of each year the RMRA Secretary shall mail to each member in good standing as of September 1, and/or conspicuously post to the RMRA website, a call for nominations for the Board of Directors. The notice shall request any interested candidate for such nomination to declare himself/herself in writing or via e-mail to the RMRA Secretary prior to October 1."

Article III, Section 2 further states:
Candidates for the Office of Director shall be members in good standing for the upcoming term and have continuous membership with the RMRA during at least two years immediately prior to nomination.

This means that anyone wishing to run for the RMRA Board of Directors:
  1. Must have been a continuous RMRA member in good standing since November 2008.
  2. Must be paid up in dues through November 2011 by 1 October 2010.
  3. Must notify Secretary Paul Nelles K9DB of his or her intention to run in writing or by e-mail by 1 October 2010.

The 145.41 (-.600 Khz) MHz Repeater is now On-the-Air from the Brighton tower site at Unity, WI  PL 114.8 Hz

The RMRA is a non-profit, tax exempt corporation, staffed entirely by volunteers, that maintains Amateur Radio analog FM voice repeaters on 53.450 MHz, 145.41 MHz, 146.82 MHz, 444.30 MHz. D-Star digital voice and data repeaters on 145.245 MHz 442.46785 Mhz and 1282.1 MHz. High speed digital access point on 1298.0 MHz from Rib Mountain near Wausau, Wisconsin for the benefit of public service.

STS-133 Discovery set for Liftoff from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida is targeted for Nov. 1, 2010 at 3:40 p.m. CST
