  • K9DB Reported that the Marathon County ARES has posted on its website an announcement that the County Severe Weather Net will be moved to the 145.37 system on Rib Mountain. K9DB presented a proposal of a letter to the ARES asking it to reconsider and designate 146.82 as the primary machine as it is the superior repeater. A lengthy discussion was held with the conclusion that the ARES is unlikely to change its position, so a communication asking for the request will not be drafted.

Meeting adjourned 18:48 CDT.

Respectfully Submitted,

Paul Nelles K9DB
